then told my husband I had.
Hubby thought I’d lied
when I hadn’t set my new computer
to disclose the secret.
I welcome the watch telling
when I fall or my heart
plays loosely with the rules.
I’m grateful for people who care
but regret the loss of independence
I didn’t really need.
