Try Being of Service

…when you stop thinking of yourself and focus on others, it’s easier to stop obsessing over things that only relate to you. Get into service. Addictive eating is an isolating, insular, self-absorbed, mind-numbing phenomenon. Service dispels all of that. ~ Thompson, Susan Peirce. Bright Line Eating (p. 183). Hay House. Kindle Edition.

Addictive eating is an isolating,
insular, self-absorbed,
mind-numbing phenomenon.
Service dispels all of that.
How do you stop eating compulsively?
Acknowledge there’s something or someone not you!
Get off your back with recrimination,
focus on other people,
even if they’re normal eaters!
How can you start thinking of others?
Ask or figure out what you can do for others…
be of service by searching out
what the needs of people around you are…
then be of service by helping them out!
You’ll help yourself as you do!
