Stubbornness is easy.
We came to these rooms full of it.
Perseverance, however, comes hard.
It takes ego deflation, turning our lives and our wills
over to God as we understand God,
willingness to work toward a goal without others
realizing we’ve done this,
feeling good looking on from the sidelines,
rejoicing that we’ve played a part
and that the result was worth it all.
