My boomerang won’t come back
I’ve waved the thing all over the place
Practiced till I was black in the face,
My boomerang won’t back.
Can you throw one so it comes back?
I must admit to total ineptitude
in the endeavor. Yet, prone to experiment,
I’ll say I have experimented
with the boomerang effect
as described by Shinn,
the kind you don’t mind the
ricochet! The idea our thoughts,
deeds and words return to us
sooner or later, with astounding accuracy.
The trick, of course is to send out
only the good stuff, the things you welcome
when the boomerang DOES come back!
