Serenity is our life, blessed
by turning our lives, or wills
over to God as we understand God.
We understand we at Long last
are good enough, are acceptable,
meet the test, the amazing fact being
that there IS no test!
And we are content under the scrutiny
of the whole world to the sane extent
As we are content sitting alone,
the living beings in our presence
being insects, a slug, two snails
and birds flying past.
And we sit content, serene, with our God.
