Why do we share at meetings?
Perhaps what we say needs to be heard
by a newcomer, by someone struggling
or just as a new or reinforcing idea
for a longtime member!
Or maybe  it’s the answer I need to hear.
Perhaps it’s a level of honesty I can reach
only because of the heartfelt sharing of others,
a need to be honest, to change, to recognize the
masquerade I’ve incorporated into my life.
God, thank you for the format of meetings
you’ve given us for making miracles!
