Acceptance gives me choices.
I can accept responsibility
for a situation and address it.
I can hear an opinion, agree or not
but omit anger, feeling put upon,
the need to give discomfort on receiving it.
I can accept suggestions, agree or not.
change me if appropriate,
leave changing the speaker to the speaker.
Acceptance means peace, tranquility,
calmness. If I choose acceptance
I’m choosing serenity
and surrender, acknowledging
God has this one!
