A Holy Life

Bring every part of your life into the presence, the holiness, and the glory of God—and let the presence, the holiness, and the glory of God come into every part of your life. ~ Cahn, Jonathan. The Book of Mysteries (p. 226). Charisma House. Kindle Edition.

Holy:  exalted or worthy of complete devotion
as one perfect in goodness and righteousness.
Holy: blessed, blest, consecrated,
hallowed, sacral, sacred, sacrosanct,
sanctified. Peter wrote, “but as he who called you
is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct,

since it is written, ‘You shall be holy, for I am holy.'”
I’m only human, imperfect, dealt with compulsion,
addiction to food for decades. I’m flawed.
But God called me to be holy,
and I’m willing. I think that’s what I mean
when I pray, “God, I offer myself to Thee —
To build with me and to do with me as Thou wilt.
Relieve me of the bondage of self,
that I may better do Thy will.
Take away my difficulties,
that victory over them
may bear witness to those I would help
of Thy Power, Thy Love, and Thy Way of life.
May I do Thy will always!
I want to be holy in my heart.
I ask to be holy in my heart.
¡Ojalá que sí!
