I told a friend who asked what she
could do for me, “My boys are home
and they do more for us than needs doing.”
Ìt occurred to me
our Higher Power does the same,
Jesus told his disciples,
“Consider the ravens:
they neither sow nor reap,
they have neither storehouse nor barn,
and yet God feeds them.
Of how much more value are you than the birds!”
Our Higher Power knows our needs
before they could possibly occur to us.
Ask and it will be given,
but trusting is sufficient.
Asking is superfluous.
