Why go to meetings?
I could read the literature,
pray, meditate, work the steps,
I’ve been to meetings for years,
could almost quote
the Standard Meeting Format.
Why goto meetings?
Because every one is different.
Because a newcomer
or someone I know well
could say something
I badly need to hear today.
And in some way large or small
every meeting grows me!
