Changing me on the inside is not limited to
internal change. But changing everything  outside…
house, job, friends, family, car, location,
anything external, if the inside doesn’t change at all,
it’s window dressing, a coat of paint, and I remain
as miserable as I was, confused that I changed it all
and I’m as miserable as I was. But when I work the steps
in order, paying attention, I change from inside out,
becoming who I had been trying to be for years!
