protected, unobtrusive… disappointing.
Jumping in is fearsome, intimidating,
terrifying, unnerving… exhilarating.
Memoirs don’t exalt wallflowering,
a toe in the water makes no memories.

and a Power directing my life
fully aware I’d sell myself short
