I deny I deny anything!
I’ve lied to myself and to others
so often, so naturally, all my life
it seems, or at least the life until now.
But I’m not now! I’m brutally honest
about myself, I share deeply in group,
even answered a question honestly,
the dreaded, “How much do you weigh?”
And I tell my sponsor everything I think
she wants to hear.
