Our greatest gift
to the children we raise
has nothing to do with wealth,
has little to do with education,
is simple (though often very hard)
and natural. Just love them.
Just want what’s best for them,
in life, in us, in the world…
peace, joy, meaning, purpose.
And even tiny infants for their part
can give those back to us,
for they reflect what they receive.
