To try is to make an attempt or effort to do something.
To surrender is to cease resistance
to an enemy or opponent
and submit to their authority.
What if there is no enemy involved
except yourself and your obsession,
your insignificant, inferior urges?
What if there’s a Power greater than you
ready and willing to carry the load
and make your life what you dream it might be?
