I’ve never considered joining Al-Anon
or Adult Children of Alcoholics.
I am however, well aware that
the Twelve-Step programs
share common stories and backgrounds.
One is the need to set other family members
on the twelve-step pathway.
I could tell people around me
they would identify with the ideas.
But despite the desire
I have I to point to a better path,
it’s none of my business
and I’ll leave them to find the truth
in the Steps!
