Success Is a System

Success is not a goal to reach or a finish line to cross. It is a system to improve, an endless process to refine. ~ Clear, James. Atomic Habits (p. 252). Penguin Publishing Group. Kindle Edition.

We would have a status called success
to know when we had reached our goal.
But if “Success” has been reached,
how do you reach some higher plane?
Successier? More success? Greater success?
Success is a system to improve,
an endless process to refine.
My heart has no desire to stay
Where doubts arise and fears dismay;
Though some may dwell where those abound,
My prayer, my aim, is higher ground.
