The Lord will provide.
Genesis chapter 22
Tells of God telling Abraham,
“Take Isaac, your only son,
whom you love,
and sacrifice him on the mountain
I will show you.”
We know the story
and understand why
Abraham named the place
“The Lord will Provide.”
We want to know the whole plan,
but only the Director of the play
needs to understand,
that the rest of us
need only trust the Director.
Abraham would have well understood
the concept that
Faith is taking the first step
even when you don’t see
the whole staircase.
