Joy in the Morning

Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. ~ Psalm 30:5

Easter in the middle of social isolation…
Easter bonnets, spiffy new clothes, optional.
It’s not the Easter we’re used to
but the message resonates, reverberates,
rejuvenates those who open hearts,
who admit the reality fears hidden behind
the veil of solidarity. Surely the message
of hope finds hearts needing comfort,
craving the joy we lack. Let us
join the Hallelujah chorus and welcome
the morning’s message of hope-filled elation.
Weeping may endure for a night,
but joy comes in the morning.
