…”never underestimate the power of denial.” It can indeed obscure the obvious. ~ Kenneth Wapnick, Absence from Felicity : The Story of Helen Schucman and Her Scribing of A Course in Miracles
Never understate the power of denial?
Because it can obscure the obvious?
And that’s desirable why??
Perhaps as Shakespeare said,
“The lady doth protest too much, methinks.”
But how often is it true for you?
When you most energetically deny a statement
think it through. Are you afraid you’re wrong?
Never underestimate the power of your own denial.
