Fearing Failure

I do not need to fear failure. I need, rather, the peace of mind that comes with taking the action I have been putting off. ~ Anonymous, Overeaters. For Today (Kindle Locations 1644-1645). Overeaters Anonymous, Inc.. Kindle Edition.

Inertia comes naturally
and the need-to-do’s accumulate
until the entire house, yard,
office, and garage shout
for attention. I recognize
the fear involved,
have long repeated,
“Procrastination is
chronic low-intensity fear.”
I can live fearing failure.
I need, rather,
the peace of mind
that comes with taking the action
I have been putting off.
