Choosing Your Path

On the wrong path, we have no power for good because we do not choose to ask for it. But on the right path, we are on the side of good and we have all the power of God’s spirit behind us. ~ Anonymous. Twenty Four Hours A Day: Meditations (p. 60). Hazelden Publishing. Kindle Edition.

Listen! It’s the voice of someone shouting,
“Clear the way through the wilderness
for the LORD! Make a straight highway
through the wasteland for our God!” (Isaiah 40:3)
The path is known to us on this Resurrection Day.
We can treat the day as any other day,
or we can select the right path,
the path we can ask God to show us
by asking the question he wants to hear,
the one he created us to ask.
And when we do, we walk forward,
the power of God’s Spirit as our guide.
On the right path, we are on the side of good
and we have all the power of God’s spirit
behind us.
