If someone cheats you, they cannot diminish your experience. They only diminish their experience. You cannot be diminished by someone cheating you unless you get all upset about being cheated and push against them and use that as your excuse to disconnect from the Stream. ~ Abraham

I wanted to sue. I knew the law, knew it was a meritorious claim
I could have prevailed in a personal dispute,
but the others involved on my side declined. I watched the four-year
statute of limitations roll by, conscious everyone else involved
was oblivious to it’s passage. I could have sued and won
a worthless right. But my partners were right, like a fourth step,
My pride was the issue. I had wanted to shine, to excel to impress.
She cheated, but the people knew what  I wanted to show her
and I remained in the stream with no amends due.Resentments held or
acted upon bring nothing worth having
