food fixes everything.
DANGER! Candles lit at both ends,

too many irons in the fire,
a crisis every way you turn.
DANGER! We who need vigilance,
we who can bypass our heads
when our bodies cry out for comfort.
DANGER! When food seems the first
of any possible thoughts
and we’re too tired out
to remember the better way,
the way of true comfort,
of surrender to a Power
who has our backs
and offers rest and relief!
