What I dream of doing may be possible
but when I listen to others doubts come,
renovations, revisions, making it not mine
and I bog down in the ordinary,
dreaming of the extraordinary.

When I ignore others, leave them to their own,
support if asked, but not interfere,
when I look only at the possibilities of mine
and leave theirs to them
then sometimes those things that seem illusions
are merely dreams come true
removing their disguise.
