Meditation’s not daunting
called conversation, what it is.
A trusted adviser, an old friend,
sharing life, frustrations,
thoughts – but listen.
Not like Aunt Molly’s calls – I nod
into the phone, or wander off.
It doesn’t matter.
God hears me, can you believe?
I hear God and I believe.
