You ask me to sponsor you
then everything you say applies to me,
my life, my issues, my recovery.
Even when you don’t disclose the key,
the answer, the program truth —
your question brings words from me
unexpected, not my thoughts, not my
wisdom but foreign, channeled
and while you claim to find the piece,
the truth you seek, I know the words
are not for you, but just what I need
to hear.
