This morning, For Today,
yesterday’s goal reached, the pinnacle —
but looking up from the top, beyond
goes on and up. More lessons await,
those for today. Let me be clear, willing,
but if You need my attention,
feel free to slap my face to lift me
beyond dreams, beyond the best.
